Overnights: Star Gold thrills on Sunday in UK trouncing rivals

Star Gold trounced rivals in Sunday UK ratings, with three times more the share than its closest rival, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel’s share shot up to 0.33%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television with 0.11%, New Vision TV with 0.07%, Star Plus, Colors and Hum TV with 0.05%, ZEE TV with 0.04% and Geo TV with 0.03%.

Star Gold’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) coverage continued to dominate with a staggering 98,100 viewers tuning into watch Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians at 15:20. Earlier in the day, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore pulled in 30,900 viewers. The repeat telecast of the match pulled in 13,700 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 featuring special guest Raveena Tandon, was watched by 54,400 viewers, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ repeat at 18:30 with 36,400 viewers and the original telecast at 21:30 raking in 15,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘The Voice’ at 20:00 delivered 20,800 viewers, followed by ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 with 16,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Madiha Maliha’ was top show with 40,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Anaa’ at 20:00 with 21,800 viewers and ‘Choti Choti Baatein’ at 22:00 with 19,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Romeo Weds Heer’ led with 22,200 viewers at 20:00.

On Colors, ‘Rising Star’ at 21:00 pulled in 21,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 was watched by 21,700 viewers.

On Sony MAX, the premiere of ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ pulled in 8,700 viewers at 20:00.
