Overnights: Star Gold jumps to No.2 behind Star Plus & Sony TV on Friday

Star Gold made a huge jump in UK ratings on Friday, on the back of cricket coverage between India and West Indies, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold registered a share of 0.12%, just behind Star Plus and Sony Entertainment Television, which continued to dominate with 0.13% each. Colors raked in 0.08% and Hum TV with 0.05%. ZEE TV attracted a share of 0.03%.

Star Gold’s cricket coverage was watched by an average of 55,000 viewers during the second part of the match at 15:00. Earlier in the day, the first interval attracted 25,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ led 72,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 67,900 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 58,100 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 53,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 50,700 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 41,200 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 20,100 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ led with 45,700 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 38,500 viewers, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:30 with 23,500 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 23,000 viewers. ‘Beyhadh 2’ dropped down to 1,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ attracted 59,600 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 31,100 viewers and ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 10,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ishq Zeh-e-Naseeb’ at 20:00 pulled in 34,100 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ raked in 38,200 viewers at 18:30.
