Overnights: Sony TV tops Sunday in UK; Aaj Tak & ZEE Cinema surge

Sony Entertainment Television stayed firmly at No.1 in UK ratings on Sunday, while Aaj Tak and ZEE Cinema witnessed a huge surge, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.14%, followed by Aaj Tak with 0.10%, ZEE Cinema with 0.09%, Sony SAB TV with 0.06%, Star Gold with 0.05%, Sony MAX and New Vision TV with 0.04%, Hum TV, ZEE TV, Colors, Colors Rishtey and Colors Cineplex with 0.03%, Star Plus, Venus TV and Samaa TV with 0.02% and Geo TV with 0.01%.

On Sony TV, ‘Best of The Kapil Sharma Show’ (pictured) was watched by 48,500 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Spice Up’ at 18:00 with 38,400 viewers, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 19:30 with 36,700 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 30,100 viewers.

On Aaj Tak, the channel’s live transmission between 11:00 and 14:30 attracted an average audience of 22,000 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, the premiere of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ at 18:00 pulled in 52,100 viewers, followed by ‘Kedarnath’ at 15:30 with 7,800 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, movie ‘Deewana’ at 16:45 led with 13,300 viewers, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at 09:00 and 09:30 with 10,400 viewers each.

On Star Gold, ‘Dishoom’ raked in 11,100 viewers at 13:15, followed by ‘War’ at 21:00 with 10,400 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ at 17:00 fetched 7,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sabaat’ was watched by 12,600 viewers at 20:00.

On Colors, ‘Mahabharat’ led with 26,800 viewers at 21:00.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ re-run was watched by 16,600 viewers at 11:00.
