Overnights: Sony TV leads the way on Friday in UK

Sony TV emerged as the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster in UK ratings on Friday, while New Vision TV moved up to No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.12%, followed by New Vision TV with 0.10%, Star Plus with 0.08%, Colors and Geo TV with 0.06%, Hum TV, PTC Punjabi and Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Star Gold, Sony MAX 2, Sony SAB TV and ZEE TV with 0.04%, Aaj Tak, Venus TV and Kanshi TV with 0.03%, Star Bharat, Geo News, NDTV 24×7, B4U Music, B4U Movies, Republic Bharat and ZEE Cinema with 0.02%.

Sony TV’s big attractions on Friday were ‘Indiawaali Ma’ at 20:30 with 54,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:00 with 42,000 viewers, ‘Indiawaali Ma’ repeat at 13:30 with 29,900 viewers and ‘India’s Best Dancer’ repeat at 11:45 with 27,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ remained top show with 51,100 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Anupamaa’ with 41,600 viewers at 20:00, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 31,800 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 26,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 18,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 17,700 viewers, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 18:30 with 15,300 viewers and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 14,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ triumphed with 53,900 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Shubharambh’ at 20:30 with 13,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Meher Posh’ was watched by 21,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Uraan’ at 21:00 with 20,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Zebaish’ led with 33,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Tum Ho Waja’ at 21:00 with 18,200 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ attracted 17,500 viewers, followed by ‘Jodha Akbar’ at 19:30 with 11,900 viewers and ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ at 20:30 with 10,000 viewers. Movie ‘Judaai’ at 22:30 fetched 8,200 viewers.
