Overnights: Sony TV & Hum TV overtake Star Plus on Monday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television and Hum TV overtook old rival, Star Plus in UK ratings on Monday, while Star Gold maintained its Numero Uno position with its IPL 2019 coverage, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold’s share was at 0.19%, followed by Sony TV and Hum TV with 0.10%, Star Plus with 0.08%, New Vision TV with 0.07%, Geo TV with 0.05%, Sony MAX 2 with 0.04%, Colors and Colors Rishtey with 0.03% and ZEE TV and ARY Family with 0.02%.

On Star Gold, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore match was watched by 50,500 viewers at 15:20. Its repeat telecast at 19:15 drew 7,900 viewers and the highlights package on Star Plus at 23:00 pulled in 1,000 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ was top show with 33,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 33,300 viewers and ‘Best of Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 24,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Janam Jali’ attracted 41,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Inkaar’ at 20:00 with 34,900 viewers and ‘Sanwari’ at 19:30 with 28,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was watched by 26,400 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 20,200 viewers and ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 16,100 viewers. Earlier in the day, cookery shows ‘Turban Tadka’ at 12:00 raked in 23,800 viewers and ‘Eat This Meri Jaan’ at 12:30 with 19,600 viewers.
