Sony Entertainment Television trounced rivals on Friday in UK, with an exceptional performance, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a whopping share of 0.27%, followed by a distant Star Plus at No.2 with 0.09%. Others that followed in the pecking order were Colors Rishtey and ZEE Cinema with 0.05%, Colors, B4U Movies and New Vision TV with 0.04%, Hum TV, Geo News and Sony MAX 2 with 0.03%, Aaj Tak, Republic Bharat, NDTV 24×7, Sony MAX and Sony SAB TV with 0.02%, ZEE TV, Star Gold, Star Bharat and Geo News with 0.01%.

On Sony TV, a three-episode of ‘Indian Idol 10’ proved a huge success with 79,700 viewers at 18:00 – peaking at 134,700 viewers. ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:30 benefited from the large audience of ‘Indian Idol 10’, with 83,100 viewers tuning in. ‘Crime Patrol’ was watched by 51,900 viewers at 22:00 and another 41,200 viewers for the 23:00 episode.

On Star Plus, ‘Mahabharat’ raked in 43,400 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ at 19:00 with 24,200 viewers and ‘Mummy Ka Magic’ at 17:30 with 22,400 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ was watched by 21,000 viewers at 21:30, followed by the 21:00 episode with 19,400 viewers and ‘Barrister Babu’ at 20:30 with 14,700 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘A Flying Jatt’ pulled in 17,000 viewers at 18:00.

On Colors, ‘Desi Beat’ at 18:00 led with 44,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Zebaish’ delivered 33,500 viewers at 20:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Jodha Akbar’ pulled in 6,200 viewers at 18:30.
