Overnights: ‘Shanakht’ puts Hum TV at No.1 in Pakistani genre at weekend

Hum TV emerged as the No.1 Pakistani TV channel in UK ratings over the weekend, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Hum TV overall was placed at No.2 on Saturday behind Sony TV and at No.3 on Sunday behind Sony TV and PTC Punjabi. The channel’s share stood at an impressive 0.09%.

‘Shanakht’ was top show on Saturday with 47,300 viewers, followed by ‘Deewar-e-Shab’ at 20:00 with 37,600 viewers. On Sunday, ‘Shanakht’ pulled in 25,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ishq Zeh-e-Naseeb’ at 22:00 with 18,000 viewers and ‘Anaa’ at 20:00 with 15,300 viewers.

Rival entertainment channels, Geo TV and ARY Family delivered 0.05% and 0.02% respectively on Saturday. On Sunday, the two channels registered 0.02% and zero respectively.
