Overnights: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ stays top in UK

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s show ‘SaraswatiChandra’ has remained on top in the UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The Star Plus drama got 191,000 viewers – peaking at 207,400 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 128,000 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ with 121,000 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (105,900), ‘Veera’ (96,800), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (91,100), ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (62,600), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (56,200) and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (49,000).

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 22,300 viewers, followed by the Hindi episode of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ with 21,100 viewers and ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ and ‘Junoon’ both raking in 11,100 viewers. The English dubbed version of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ got just 2,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bigg Boss 4’ (re-run) topped the ratings for the first time with 91,100 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 66,600 viewers and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ with 56,400 viewers next.

On Zing, ‘Soul Music’ at 17:30 was top with 9,000 viewers, followed by ‘Bollywood Business’ next with 5,300 viewers and ‘Two To Tango’ next with 3,700 viewers. New show ‘Grinds My Teeth’ repeat got 500 viewers at 19:00.
