Overnights: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ stays top in UK

‘SaraswatiChandra’ has managed to stay on top in the UK Asian TV ratings for third consecutive night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show pulled in 133,300 viewers at 19:30, in which Kumud was pushed too far by husband Pramad and decided to leave her marital home. In second place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 131,700 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai in third with 126,500 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Mahabharat’ (126,000), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (108,000), ‘Veera’ (87,800), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (74,700), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (73,600), ‘Saathiya’ (48,900) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (14,600).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ continued its reign with 70,000 viewers – peaking at 79,400 viewers, followed by ‘Madhubala’ with 16,600 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ with 12,700 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 34,200 viewers, followed by ‘Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai’ (repeat) at 15:00 with 26,100 viewers and ‘Mahadev’ in third with 19,500 viewers. The re-run of ‘Geet’ got just 6,400 viewers, while the re-run of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi got 9,900 viewers and the English dubbed getting just 300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was top with 67,400 viewers, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 47,000 viewers and ‘Bandhan’ with 43,700 viewers.
