The latest drama in ‘SaraswatiChandra’, which saw Kumud leaving her marital home after an attack by her husband Pramad, made it the most watched Asian TV show in UK again.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ pulled in a ratings high of 232,500 viewers – peaking at 276,000 viewers. In second place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 174,700 viewers and ‘Meri Bhabhi’ with 163,800 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Mahabharat’ (159,000), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (126,000), ‘Saathiya’ (116,000), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (82,500), ‘Veera’ (81,700), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (60,400) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (60,200).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ continued to cling on to the top position with 68,900 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 27,100 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ with 21,100 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ stayed on top on the channel with 43,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mahadev’ with 23,400 viewers and the special ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ and ‘Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai’ combined episode at 21:00 with 13,600 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ re-run got 9,500 viewers in Hindi at 14:00, while the English dubbed got zero. The re-run of ‘Geet’ at 14:30 got 9,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was top with 88,000 viewers, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 86,200 viewers and ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ next with 55,200 viewers. ‘Parichay’ was in fourth with 48,000 viewers at 20:00.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Baal Veer’ was top with 52,700 viewers, followed by ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, which got 45,600 viewers and ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ next with 21,000 viewers.
