Overnights: SAB TV surprises on Sunday in UK

While Star Plus and &TV showed big premieres on Sunday, it was SAB TV with its repeat telecast of ‘Aarakshan’ that topped movie ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Aarakshan’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, was watched by 35,600 viewers at 18:00 – peaking at 54,100 viewers. Other films during the day didn’t perform so well with ‘Aladin’ at 15:30 with 3,200 viewers and ‘Krrish’ at 12:00 with 3,100 viewers.

On &TV, the free-to-air premiere of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s action film ‘Jazbaa’ brought in 25,100 viewers between 16:00 and 18:30. ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ at 20:00 was watched by 9,900 viewers.

On Star Plus, movie premiere ‘Sanam Re’ could muster in only 16,900 viewers at 13:00. The sneak peak into ‘Star Parivaar Awards 2016’ at 15:30 was watched by 22,000 viewers. The biggest show on the channel remained ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 112,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 104,200 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 89,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Naagin’ topped rating with 15,800 viewers, followed by Box Cricket League with 13,500 viewers at 17:00 and ‘Comedy Nights Live’ at 22:00 with 5,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was biggest show with 45,500 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 15,200 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 13,300 viewers. Film ‘Tere Naam’ at 21:30 scored 10,800 viewers.

On Zing, ‘One Two Ka Four’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla at 20:30 registered 21,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Udaari’ was biggest show with 89,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Akbari Asghari’ at 21:00 with 13,600 viewers and ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 19:30 with 2,500 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Shaam Dhalay’ delivered 8,000 viewers at 21:00.
