Overnights: ‘Saathiya’ returns to top in UK

The long-running drama ‘Saathiya’ was back on top in the UK last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Saathiya’ attracted 167,200 viewers at 19:00 – peaking at 226,800 viewers. This was followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with a respectable 162,800 viewers at 19:30 and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ next with 151,400 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘MasterChef India’ (150,100), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (130,400), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (116,400), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (68,500), ‘Veera’ (54,200) and ‘Ek Ghar Banuanga’ (28,700).

On ITV4, the Indian Premier League pulled in 148,200 viewers between 11:00 and 20:00 – peaking at 286,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ at 20:30 pulled in 47,800 viewers, followed by ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 44,300 viewers and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ with 28,400 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ got 24,000 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ with 22,900 viewers and ‘Savitri’ at 20:30 next with 20,200 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Chidiyaghar’ at 21:00 was the channel topper with 82,000 viewers, followed by ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ next with 70,200 viewers and ‘Baal Veer’ in third with 64,900 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 rated zero but made up for it at 22:30 with around 3,000 viewers.
