Star Plus’s drama ‘Saathiya’ was easily the most watched Asian show in the UK last night pulling in over 210,000 viewers in the 19:00 slot.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the drama got an average 214,300 viewers tuning in – peaking at 250,500. The recent storyline surrounding Rashi and baby Vansh has got viewers gripped and has made it the most watched UK Asian show over the last couple of days.

In second place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 174,600 at 21:00, followed by ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ with 157,400 and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ next with 143,800 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Veera’ (134,200), the penultimate episode of ‘Yeh Khamoshiyan’ attracted just 130,200 viewers, followed by ‘Kaali Ek PunarAvtar’ (119,300) and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 95,700 viewers.

On Zing, local production ‘Cloud 9’ rated zero again for all four episodes yesterday. The channel’s most watched show was ‘Bollywood Bulletin’, which got 15,400, followed by ‘Ten On Ten’ at 17:30 with 13,100 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Junoon’ at 21:30 was the most watched show with 56,300 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ pulling in 52,700. ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ at 20:00 got 40,200 viewers. New show ‘Savitri’ ended the week with 14,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Jeevan Saathi’ was the most watched show last night at 20:00 with 41,600. ‘Swarg’ at 18:30 attracted 32,200 and in third was ‘Na Aana Is Desh Laado’ at 21:00 with 28,100 viewers.
