Overnights: Rishtey leaps over Star Plus & Colors

Rishtey took lead over Star Plus and Colors last night in UK Asian TV ratings.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, Rishtey did remarkably well with a slew of its primetime shows outperforming rival shows. ‘Meri Aashiqui’ remained the leading show on the channel at 20:30 with 136,200 viewers. At the same time, ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ on Star Plus managed just 50,000 viewers, while ‘Shastri Sisters’ on Colors raked in 46,700 viewers.

Overall, it was a good night for Rishtey, ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ between 18:30 and 19:30 was in second place with 84,400 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 81,200 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Laado’ at 21:00 with 54,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, the biggest show was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 89,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 70,600 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ in third with 57,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ was top with 63,400 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Ashoka’ with 60,200 viewers at 21:00 and ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 56,700 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Susural Mera’ led ratings on the channel with 57,500 viewers, followed by ‘Zid’ at 20:00 with 55,700 viewers and ‘Parsa’ at 21:00 with 20,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Malika-E-Aliya’ at 21:00 was top with 4,700 viewers, followed by ‘Iqrar’ at 20:00 with 2,500 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Mahakumbh’ was top show with 21,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 20,700 viewers and ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 with 16,400 viewers.

On Sky Living, ‘Desi Rascals’ at 20:00 was up slightly on last Friday’s outing with 91,200 viewers (including Sky Living + 1).
