Overnights: Rishtey edges out Star Plus in 22:00 – 23:00 Monday slot
While Star Plus had the majority lead in the UK Asian TV ratings last night, Rishtey was ahead of the old rival between 22:00 and 23:00, BizAsia can exclusively reveal.
According to overnight data for Monday night, Star Plus’ ‘Mahabharat’ was the overall leader with 175,200 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ at 20:00 with 136,500 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in third with 100,900 viewers.
Rishtey took the ratings crown at 22:00 with ‘Parichay’ repeat, which got 68,900 viewers – compared to ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ on Star Plus (61,800) and repeat of ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 22:30 delivering 68,800 viewers – compared to ‘Veera’ on Star Plus (45,700). Another show that did well on Rishtey last night was ‘Bhagyavidhata’ at 18:00, which got 58,300 viewers.
Ratings on Colors slowed down again with ‘BeIntehaa – Eid special’ at 21:00 pulling in 22,800 viewers in the 60-minute slot. ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 was second with 10,900 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 7,500 viewers at 22:00.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ at 22:00 was top show with 36,900 viewers, followed by ‘Gustakh Dil’ at 19:30 with 31,500 viewers and ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ in third with 14,600 viewers.
On Hum Europe, ‘Mere Meherbaan’ was top show with 3,100 viewers, followed by ‘Pappad Se Pizza Tak’ with 1,300 viewers and ‘Main Na Manu Haar’ at 18:30 with 1,200 viewers.
