Star Plus’ hit drama serial ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara’ has once again edged out its rivals to become the most watched Asian TV show in the UK.

According to exclusive UK viewing data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai…’ thrashed all of its rivals by grabbing a huge 233,700 viewers between 22:00 and 22:30 last night. It peaked to 263,900 later in the show. The show consistently is achieving its best ever ratings.

In second place was ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ with 177,400 – notching up 0.69 per cent of the audience share. The drama peaked to 204,700. In third was, ‘Veera’, which had slid down the popularity chart in the UK recently. However, it attracted 176,800 viewers on Monday night with 1.08 per cent of the audience share.

��Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai�۪ was next with 153,100, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 150,400.

‘Kaali Ek PunarAvtar’ continues to remain at the bottom in the 20:00 slot with 99,200 viewers tuning in.

Over on Zing, the week-old UK drama serial ‘Cloud 9’ continues to under perform with under one thousand viewers tuning in for the original airing at 18:30. The 22:30 repeat got a zero rating – audience too small to be measured. However, the 16:30 repeat got the highest audience with 14,700 viewers tuning into see the local action.
