Overnights: PTC Punjabi clinches No.1 spot in UK on Saturday

PTC Punjabi, which has been slowly crawling near the top spot, finally managed to beat giants, Star Plus and Sony TV in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Its the first time that PTC Punjabi has beaten Star Plus, with a comfortable lead in terms of share.

PTC Punjabi scored victory over its rivals with its daytime output between midday and 18:00 attracting an average of 35,000 viewers.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Indian Idol 10’ with 47,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 10’ repeat at 10:00 with 17,700 viewers and ‘Best Of Crime Patrol’ at midnight with 14,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ re-run at 14:30 was top show with 47,600 viewers, followed by ‘Dance+ 4’ attracted 40,600 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ re-run at 15:00 with 31,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ was the UK’s most watched show on Saturday with 53,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘India’s Got Talent’ at 22:00 with 29,100 viewers and ‘Desi Beat’ at 19:30 with 10,800 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘South Asian Cuisines’ at 10:30 pulled in a huge 45,500 viewers, followed by ‘Temptations’ at 10:00 with 45,000 viewers and ‘Wafa Kaisi Kahan Ka Ishq’ at 09:00 with 13,400 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Out & About’ led with 11,900 viewers at 19:00, followed by movie ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’ at midday with 9,200 viewers and ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ at 19:30 with 8,800 viewers.

On Sony MAX, movie premiere ‘Nawabzaade’ at 20:00 pulled in 6,400 viewers.
