Overnights: PSL 2018 final propels Prime TV to No.1 on Sunday

The finale of the Pakistan Super League propelled Prime TV to the No.1 spot in UK Asian TV ratings on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Prime TV’s share was at 0.16% with its coverage of Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi, delivering over 45,000 viewers. Its coverage peaked to 62,700 viewers at around 17:15. This year’s Pakistan Super League has proved a runaway success for Prime TV, despite competition from Hum Masala.

Hum Masala’s coverage of the Pakistan Super League final was watched by 36,600 viewers. The channel also recorded its best ever share with 0.13%. Hum Masala has been on a ratings high during the course of this year’s Pakistan Super League. Its also been able to deliver record weekly reach figures.

Star Gold was placed at No.3 with a share of 0.10%. The channel’s top rated films were ‘Ready’ at 18:30 with 28,000 viewers, followed by ‘Coolie No.1’ with 27,400 viewers.

Colors was at No.4 with a share of 0.08% with ‘Rising Star’ delivering 36,000 viewers and ‘Filmfare Awards’ at 17:0 with 16,100 viewers.

Star Plus’ Sunday woes continued with a share of 0.06%. ‘India’s Next Superstars’ at 20:00 pulled in 30,900 viewers.

ZEE TV got a share of 0.03% with ‘Secret Superstar’ movie pulling in 7,400 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television’s new show ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’ opened up with 2,900 viewers at 20:00.
