The war between Sony MAX and ZEE Cinema accelerated in UK ratings on Saturday with the former easily beating the latter, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The HD premiere of Aamir Khan’s blockbuster film ‘PK’ delivered 21,200 viewers – peaking at 47,800 viewers. The ongoing cricket series between India V Sri Lanka also was a big ratings winner on the channel with 19,300 viewers tuning in from 04:45 – peaking at 83,600 viewers. ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ at 23:00 delivered 7,100 viewers and ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ at 13:00 with 2,900 viewers.
ZEE Cinema’s top rated movie was the 90s hit ‘Beta’ starring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, which attracted 8,100 viewers at 14:35 – peaking at 15,300 viewers. Other movies on the channel hovered around the zero-1k mark.
