Overnights: ‘Panga’ premiere rockets Star Plus to top on Sunday in UK

The premiere of ‘Panga’ starring Kangana Ranaut, consolidated Star Plus at the No.1 position in UK ratings on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.13% – leaving general entertainment rivals well behind with B4U Movies the closest opposition at No.2 with a share of 0.10%, followed by New Vision TV with 0.08%, Hum TV and ZEE TV with 0.07%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.06%, Colors with 0.05%, Geo TV, PTC Punjabi, Sony SAB TV and Sony MAX with 0.04%, Star Bharat, Sony MAX 2 and ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, Star Gold, Dunya News, B4U Music, NDTV 24×7, BritAsia TV, ARY Family and Colors Rishtey with 0.02%.

The UK television premiere of ‘Panga’ on Star Plus was one of the most watched movies during the lockdown period with a whopping 57,200 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 84,500 viewers. It was followed by ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 28,600 viewers, ‘Radhakrishn’ at 19:00 and 19:30 with 23,700 viewers and 20,700 viewers respectively and movie ‘Baadshao’ with 10,000 viewers at 15:30.

On B4U Movies, ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’ at 14:15 led with 18,600 viewers, followed by ‘Cheeni Kum’ at 21:00 with 15,000 viewers and ‘Namaste England’ at 18:00 with 12,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mr Shamim’ was watched by 37,900 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Love Ke Lye’ at 18:30 with 34,500 viewers, ‘Tarap’ at 22:00 with 33,000 viewers and ‘Pyaar Ke Sadqay’ at 23:00 with 21,500 viewers. ‘Sabaat’ at 20:00 pulled in 14,000 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ pulled in 17,800 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Starry Nights 2.0’ at 20:30 with 13,400 viewers and movie ‘Mulk’ with 9,300 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ delivered 22,200 viewers at 15:00 and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 20,100 viewers.

On Colors, movie ‘Ready’ at 17:00 was watched by 11,000 viewers and ‘Namastey London’ at 13:00 with 10,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Meher Posh’ led with 12,300 viewers and ‘Makafat’ at 20:00 with 11,600 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey,’Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran’ at 11:00 led with 6,300 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘Heropanti’ pulled in 13,400 viewers at 20:00.

On Star Bharat, movie ‘Dhruva’ at 15:30 was watched by 9,700 viewers.
