Overnights: ‘Meri Bhabhi’ takes rating lead in UK

Star Plus’ newly launched drama ‘Meri Bhabhi’ has managed to top the ratings in the UK last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Meri Bhabhi’ pulled in 183,000 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 196,600 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 143,800 viewers and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 136,200 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Saathiya’ (135,200), ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (118,600), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (114,300), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (86,300), ‘Veera’ (82,100) and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (78,400)

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top again with 12,300 viewers, ‘Junoon’ in second with 11,000 viewers and ‘Savitri’ was next with 8,800 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi got 8,700 viewers at 14:00 and the English edition got just 300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was top with 81,300 viewers, followed by ‘Bairi Piya’ with 62,600 viewers ‘Bigg Boss 4’ (re-run) with 58,700 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was top with 36,700 viewers, followed by ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ with 29,600 viewers and ‘Chidiyaghar’ with 28,300 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Bollywood Life’ was top with 16,300 viewers at 18:00, followed by the 22:00 edition getting 9,600 viewers and ‘Life and Times Of A Star’ with 4,500 viewers. ‘Grinds My Teeth’ repeat at 19:30 got just 400 viewers.
