Overnights: ‘Meri Aashiqui’ tops 20:30 slot in UK on Monday
The recently launched fiction ‘Meri Aashiqui’, which airs on Rishtey in the UK managed to top the 20:30 slot beating biggest rival, Star Plus.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 pulled in a record 107,300 viewers – peaking at 138,000 viewers – the biggest ever audience since the show launched in July. It was easily the slot leader in the UK ratings last night beating ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ on Star Plus, which only garnered 47,800 viewers.
On Star Plus, the biggest show was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 160,900 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 106,500 viewers and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir’ in third with 90,100 viewers at 18:00.
On Colors, ‘BeIntehaa’ bounced back to top with 59,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Rangrasiya’ with 45,900 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ in third with 32,500 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ at 22:00 was top show with 38,100 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ next with 16,200 viewers.
On Hum TV Europe, ‘Mohabbat Ab Nahi Hogi’ was top with 59,000 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Dil-e-Muztar’ at 21:00 with 39,700 viewers.
