Overnights: ‘MasterChef India’ continues to rule
The cookery reality show ‘Masterchef India’ has once again topped the UK ratings, for the second consecutive night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
‘MasterChef India’ at 20:00 attracted 192,400 viewers – peaking at 235,700 viewers, it was just slightly ahead of number two show ‘SaraswatiChandra’, which pulled in 191,100 – peaking at 231,600.
The Top Ten most watched shows consisted of eight programmes from Star Plus, followed by two from Rishtey.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 rated zero but picked up at 22:30 for its repeat with 1,800 viewers. ‘Dance India Dance’ at 15:00 (4,500) and ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00 (2,700) rated better for the channel.
On Sony SAB TV, the Yash Raj produced show ‘Mahi Way at 18:30 pulled in 44,700 viewers, followed by ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ at 21:30 garnering 41,400 viewers. ‘BaalVeer’ at 20:00 with 33,300 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Welcome’ at 22:00 attracted 43,500 viewers, followed by ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ with 15,,300 viewers. ‘2612’ got 10,700 viewers.
