Overnights: ‘Indian Idol 12’ keeps Sony TV strong at No.1 on Sunday in UK

The second episode of ‘Indian Idol 12’ on Sunday night proved a huge ratings winner for Sony TV, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV was well ahead of its rivals with a share of 0.18%, followed by Colors with 0.09%, PTC Punjabi with 0.08%, Geo TV, Hum TV, Colors Rishtey, New Vision TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.04%, Star Bharat, Sony SAB TV, B4U Movies and Hum Masala with 0.03%, Star Plus and ARY Digital with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol 12’ raked in 74,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 45,000 viewers, repeat of ‘Indian Idol 12’ at 17:00 with 38,900 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 32,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ led with 46,300 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 23:30 with 24,600 viewers, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ repeat at 12:00 with 11,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mushk’ repeat was top with 27,100 viewers at 13:00, followed by ‘Qaraar’ at 20:00 with 18,600 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Chupan Chupai’ led with 34,100 viewers at midnight, followed by ‘Bandhay Aik Dour Say’ at 23:00 with 27,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘The Indian Express’ raked in 17,600 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Baaghi 2’ at 20:00 with 6,800 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, premiere of ‘FryDay’ at 18:00 led with 16,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Kedarnath’ pulled in 3,600 viewers at 14:00.
