Overnights: Hum TV most watched on Sunday night in UK

Hum TV Europe emerged as the most watched Asian entertainment channel on Sunday night in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Hum TV Europe beat Indian giants like Star Plus, Colors and Life Ok by delivering the best ever ratings since it launched in the UK earlier this year. ‘Ahista Ahista’ at 20:00 was easily the most watched show with 62,700 viewers tuning in. It peaked further to 79,500 viewers. The show was followed by ‘Mithoo Aur Aapa’ at 21:00 with 45,500 viewers and ‘Mausam’ at 22:00 with 43,700 viewers.

Its closest rival last night was Colors with reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ at 21:00 raking 43,400 viewers, followed by ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ featuring Vidya Balan with 38,000 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 delivering 36,500 viewers.

Star Plus’ repeat content proved disappointing in the ratings with ‘Koffee With Karan’ at 20:00 pulling in 13,500 viewers and movie ‘Game’ at 21:00 delivering 13,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Aamna Saamna’ continued to top the ratings with 20,800 viewers, followed by Pakistani drama ‘Numm’ with 12,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 14,900 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Shapath’ at 21:00 with 13,200 viewers.
