Overnights: Hum Masala returns to No.1 on Friday with PSL 2020

Hum Masala dominated UK ratings on Friday on the back of the success of the Pakistan Super League 2020, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Hum Masala attracted a share of 0.15%, followed by Star Plus with 0.14%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.06%, Colors and PTC Punjabi with 0.05%, Geo TV, Venus TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, Hum TV, Star Bharat, New Vision TV, Sony SAB TV, Aaj Tak, ABP News, NDTV 24×7, BritAsia TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, Geo News, Dunya News and Star Gold with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

PSL 2020 coverage gave Hum Masala a huge surge in UK ratings with an average audience of 35,000 viewers tuning in for most of the day.

Star Plus’ top attractions on Friday were ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 57,300 viewers, followed by ‘Nazar’ at 22:30 with 40,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 36,300 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 35,400 viewers, ‘Dadi Amma Maan Jao’ at 18:30 with 33,400 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 33,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 32,200 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 28,000 viewers, ‘Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do’ at 20:30 with 22,100 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 8,500 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ led with 37,500 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 35,000 viewers, ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 22,700 viewers, ‘Beyhadh 2’ at 21:00 with 18,100 viewers and ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2’ at 19:30 with 12,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 was watched by 26,500 viewers, followed by ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ at 21:30 with 23,800 viewers and ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ at 20:30 with 14,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kun Faya Kun’ led with 23,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Soya Mera Naseeb’ at 19:30 with 11,200 viewers and ‘Pyaar Ke Sadqay’ repeat at 22:00 with 4,000 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ topped ratings with 18,300 viewers at 20:30.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ was watched by 12,800 viewers.
