Overnights: ‘Guddan’ smashes ZEE TV UK records on Monday in UK

ZEE TV’s prime-time shows may not all be generating big audiences, however, there’s one early evening show, which continues to push the channel to new heights, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Guddan’ at 18:30 on Monday smashed ZEE TV’s UK ratings with a huge 78,000 viewers – the channel’s largest audience ever for a fiction show. The show has consistently led in UK ratings in the 18:30 slot beating heavyweight ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus in the same time slot. The popular series could only garner 30,600 viewers during the same time.

On other rival channels, ‘Ganesha’ on Sony TV pulled in 2,500 viewers and ‘Sitaara’ on Colors raked in under 1,000 viewers.

‘Guddan’ helped ZEE TV to a share of 0.04%. Star Plus topped ratings with 0.17%, Sony TV with 0.07% and Colors with 0.02%.
