Overnights: Geo TV eclipses Hum TV in 21:00 slot

Geo TV, which has is slowly giving Hum TV a hard time in UK ratings beat its rival’s strong 21:00 slot for the first time yesterday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Geo TV’s ‘Mujhe Kuch Kenha Hai’ at 21:00 attracted 70,100 viewers – peaking at 91,000 viewers – beating ‘Kahi Un Kahi’ in the same time slot on Hum TV. The latter did well also but had to settle for second place with 64,900 viewers. ‘Teri Meri Jodi’ at 19:30 on Geo TV attracted 13,200 viewers. On Hum TV, ‘Mana Ka Gharana’ on Hum TV registered 29,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Ishq-e-Benaam’ at 19:30 with 28,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ reigned with 183,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 153,800 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 137,700 viewers. ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 was in fourth with 118,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ did well with 61,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Udaan’ at 19:30 with 30,000 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 22,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ topped ratings with 75,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 34,300 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 13,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ at 21:00 delivered 18,800 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 12,200 viewers and ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 with 11,500 viewers.
