Geo TV thrashed rival, Hum TV in the 20:00 – 21:00 slot last night in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Hum TV, which has been on a ratings high over the past couple of days, witnessed a slump last night. Hum TV’s top rated show on Monday night was ‘Lagaao’ at 22:00 with 52,400 viewers, followed by ‘Humnasheen’ at 21:00 with 49,500 viewers and ‘Ishq-e-Benaam’ at 19:30 with 44,200 viewers. However, the 20:00 show ‘Mann Mayal’ registered just 16,300 viewers.

On rival, Geo TV, ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ at 20:00 pipped Hum TV to the top with double the audience – 34,200 viewers tuning. ‘Heer’ at 21:00 pulled in 34,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, new show ‘Dahleez’ launched with just 41,800 viewers at 22:00 – making it the channel’s least watched show during primetime. ‘Saathiya’ remained top show with 183,900 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 157,600 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 133,600 viewers. The afternoon band was led by ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ at 15:30 with 27,800 viewers, followed by ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’ at 14:30 with 17,800 viewers and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ at 15:00 with 16,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 topped ratings with 23,600 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 20,700 viewers and ‘Udaan’ at 19:30 with 15,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ stayed ahead with 74,300 viewers, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 54,400 viewers and ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 46,500 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ at 21:00 with 31,100 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 23,000 viewers and ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 15,000 viewers.
