Overnights: Filmfare Awards score high on SAB TV

Sony SAB TV fought back in UK ratings on Sunday afternoon on the back of the telecast of the Filmfare Awards, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The star-studded awards ceremony, which was aired between 16:40 and 20:35 was watched by a huge 51,400 viewers – peaking at 92,900 viewers. Movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ at 20:35 also did very well with 24,600 viewers. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif movie, peaked further to 65,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ stayed top with 196,100 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 139,100 viewers and ‘MasterChef India’ at 20:00 with 136,500 viewers. ‘Kofee With Karan’ repeat featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt was watched by 24,300 viewers at 21:00. The original episode of the series featuring Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor was shunted to 22:00 due to its adult-content. It pulled in 25,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 10’ stayed top with 65,600 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ at 22:30 with 31,400 viewers and ‘Naagin’ at 20:00 with 17,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ led with 33,300 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 29,600 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 29,200 viewers.

On &TV, movie premiere ‘Rustom’ starring Akshay Kumar delivered 12,200 viewers – peaking at 44,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain – Weekend Special’ at 20:00 with 12,200 viewers and ‘The Place To Eat’ at 19:00 with 7,400 viewers. Movie ‘Jurm’ at 21:00 with 7,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Bin Roye’ at 20:00 attracted 51,300 viewers, followed by ‘Maat’ at 21:00 with 50,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘The Sportsman Show’ at 22:00 delivered 3,100 viewers.
