The newly launched ‘Everest’ helmed by Bollywood filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker lost viewers in its second outing, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The second episode of the new show, which aired at 22:00 on Star Plus, raked in just 32,100 viewers – down from 43,800 viewers on Monday night. The change in direction of programming for the channel’s 22:00 slot, will take a little longer for viewers to adjust. It remains to be seen how the show will perform over the next month.

Star Plus’ ‘Saathiya’ was top on the channel with 150,600 viewers – peaking at 165,700 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 141,900 viewers and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ at 20:00 with 131,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ at 21:00 was top show in the UK with a record breaking 175,400 viewers – peaking at a huge 223,700 viewers, followed by ‘BeIntehaa’ at 22:00 with 61,500 viewers and ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 20:30 with just 25,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Shaitaan’ at 21:30 was top with 67,600 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ with 38,700 viewers and ‘Laado’ at 21:00 with 29,500 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ led the ratings with 46,600 viewers, followed by ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ with 43,300 viewers and ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 with 30,500 viewers.
