Star Plus’ new fiction ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ made a mediocre start in the UK Asian TV ratings last night but still remained to lead in the 20:00 slot.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the revenge drama pulled in 81,900 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 92,100 viewers. It beat other channels like Colors and Rishtey in the same slot. ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ is expected to pick up in the ratings in days to come with promotions of the show in full-swing on the channel.

The most watched show in the UK last night was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 229,700 viewers – peaking at 257,900 viewers, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ with 144,900 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ next with 142,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘BeIntehaa’ was the most watched show on the channel yesterday with 86,400 viewers, followed by ‘Rangrasiya’ with 74,600 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ was watched by 69,000 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 57,200 viewers and ‘Parichay’ with 53,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ continued to dominate the ratings with 57,400 viewers, followed by ‘Welcome 2’ with 33,600 viewers and ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ with 30,800 viewers.
