The heavily publicised Asian drama ‘Desi Rascals’ on Sky Living lost momentum last night after losing nearly 30,000 viewers since its outing on Tuesday.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the fourth episode of ‘Desi Rascals’ at 20:00 raked in 74,200 viewers – peaking at 94,900 viewers (including Sky Living +1). It was hoping to do well in the ratings after makers of the show managed to rope in Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan for a special appearance. Bachchan was in London earlier this week promoting his film ‘Shamitabh’. ‘Desi Rascals’ was down from Tuesday’s episode, which delivered 106,100 viewers. Last night’s episode was up slightly on the second episode, which aired on Friday 23rd January, which garnered 65,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ took lead with 141,300 viewers, followed by ‘MasterChef India’ with 114,300 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 101,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ stayed top with an impressive 130,700 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 170,900 viewers, followed by ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 50,200 viewers and ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 20:30 with 47,700 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Sadqay Tumharay’ at 20:00 was top show with 60,100 viewers and ‘Badi Aapa’ next at 21:00 with 53,700 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Bari Bahu’ at 17:30 was top show with 8,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ maintained lead with 44,400 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 40,800 viewers and ‘Laado’ at 21:00 with 35,400 viewers.

On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ with 33,200 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 with 22,300 viewers.
