Colors and Rishtey ceased broadcasting on the Freeview platform yesterday but the ratings for both channels remained on the higher side, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The top rated show on Colors was ‘Swabhimaan’ with 44,400 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 32,300 viewers, ‘Udann’ at 20:30 with 22,300 viewers and ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 18:30 with 18,900 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ did well with 27,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bhaag Bakool Bhaag’ at 22:00 with 13,800 viewers and ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 13,700 viewers.
Colors and Rishtey came off Freeview yesterday in the UK and encrypted on the Sky platform. The channels are now available exclusively with a Sky basic subscription.
Star Plus stayed well ahead of its Asian TV rivals with ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 pulling in 113,400 viewers, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 18:00 with 87,500 viewers, ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 with 74,500 viewers and ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ at 20:00 with 70,800 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Meri Durga’ was watched by 13,400 viewers at 12:30, followed by ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’ at 13:00 with 8,200 viewers and ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ at 14:00 with 4,700 viewers.
On ZEE TV, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ at 21:30 and ‘Piya Albela at 20:00 topped ratings with 8,800 viewers each, followed by ‘Woh Apna Sa’ at 19:30 with 6,700 viewers and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ at 21:00 with 5,200 viewers.
On Sony Entertainment Television, ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ at 20:30 pulled in 25,200 viewers, followed by ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi’ at 21:30 with 10,800 viewers and ‘Beyhadh’ at 21:00 with 5,200 viewers.
On &TV, ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ at 20:00 fetched 18,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 5,500 viewers.
On ZEE Cinema, movie ‘Judaai’ at 08:40 pulled in 13,800 viewers, followed by ‘Yaadein’ at 15:10 with 2,500 viewers and ‘Ram Lakhan’ at 19:00 with 1,700 viewers.
On Sony MAX, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ led with 12,700 viewers at 10:30, followed by ‘Anjaam’ at 23:00 with 2,600 viewers and ‘Bewakoofiyaan’ at 20:00 with 1,300 viewers.
