Overnights: Colors pushes ahead on Thursday

Colors saw a ratings push on Thursday night in the UK, just days after it launched its HD service, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

No doubt, the HD service, which is available on Sky, has attracted new viewers to the channel. The biggest show last night on the channel was the repeat of ‘Swabhimaan’ at 23:00 with 48,600 viewers – peaking at 53,000 viewers, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 26,200 viewers and ‘Udann’ at 20:30 with 11,500 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Naamkarann’ was back on top with 148,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 131,900 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 129,100 viewers. ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 fetched 121,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 led with 23,600 viewers, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 13,600 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 5,600 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 delivered 24,700 viewers, followed by the repeat at midnight with 20,400 viewers, ‘Queens Hain Hum’ repeat at 00:30 with 14,000 viewers and ‘Waaris’ at 19:00 with 11,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’ at 20:00 topped ratings with 49,800 viewers, followed by ‘Susral Mera’ at 21:00 with 36,600 viewers and ‘Jethani’ at 19:30 with 34,300 viewers.

On UK 44, ‘DNA’ at 22:00 with 7.300 viewers and ‘News Bulletin UK’ at 23:00 with 6,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Manjdhar’ at 21:30 with 3,100 viewers.
