Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 8’ doubles it audience on Friday

After halving its audience since its launch on Sunday, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ surged back in the UK Asian TV ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The Friday night episode of the popular reality TV show registered 94,300 viewers – peaking at an impressive 156,100 viewers. It was the most watched show on the channel, followed by ‘BeIntehaa’ with 64,500 viewers and ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 20:30 with 60,900 viewers.

On leading channel, Star Plus, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ was top most watched show in the UK with 143,500 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 112,600 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ and ‘Veera’ settling for a joint third with 108,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laado’ at 21:00 was top rated with 70,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ was top with 55,000 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:30 with 41,300 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Kankar’ was top show with 79,900 viewers, followed by ‘Mausam’ with 57,600 viewers at 20:00.
