Overnights: ‘BeIntehaa’ gets biggest ever ratings in UK

The popular drama ‘BeIntehaa’ on Colors pulled the biggest ever ratings in the UK Asian TV ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs at 21:00 attracted a huge 122,300 viewers – peaking at 153,800 viewers. It was the second most watched show during the 21:00 slot after ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ on Star Plus, which got 217,300 viewers – making it the most watched show on UK Asian telly.

Colors’ two other shows performed well last night including ‘Rangrasiya’ at 21:30 with 88,600 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ in third with 80,400 viewers at 22:00.

On sister channel, Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was the leading show in the 19:30 band, bringing in 169,100 viewers to the channel at that time. It also beat ‘SaraswatiChandra’ again on Star Plus, which mustered in 124,200 viewers. ‘Parichay’, which airs at 20:00 on Rishtey also did well with 137,900 viewers.

On Star Plus, while ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ led the UK ratings, ‘Meri Bhabhi’ took second place with 185,500 viewers and ‘Veera’ was in third with 175,500 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Welcome 2’ did remarkably well for the channel with 47,000 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ with 42,600 viewers at 21:15.
