Overnights: ‘Bani’ gets record high ratings in UK

'Bani Ishq Da Kalma' tops Rishtey ratings

Rishtey is celebrating the success of ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ after it brought the channel its biggest ever audience last night for a fiction show.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ attracted a record high 169,700 viewers – peaking at 197,500 viewers at 19:30. Previously, only film/events have done this well on the channel’s ratings front. Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’, which aired earlier this year also proved a huge success.

‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 20:30 was also quite popular on Rishtey with 111,300 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ in third with 86,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ led the ratings overall with 212,600 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ with 194,100 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ next with 173,400 viewers. The others in the pecking order were ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (161,100), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (124,000), ‘Mahabharat’ (119,400), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (118,300), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (108,100), ‘Veera’ (98,900) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (52,000).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ ratings continued to grow with 143,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 78,500 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ next with 56,900 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top on the channel with 31,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ with 17,700 viewers and ‘The Bachelorette India’ in third with 16,700 viewers.

On Lamhe, ‘Amanat’ was on top with 25,000 viewers, followed by ‘Hum Paanch’ and ‘Malgudi Days’ with 16,600 viewers each at 17:30 and 18:00 respectively. ‘Saat Phere’ at 20:00 got 14,900 viewers.
