'Saathiya' slumps to low ratings in UK

UK Asian TV channels suffered in the ratings again on Saturday night with no show delivering over 100,000 viewers, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The most watched show on UK Asian television was ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 97,700 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 84,900 viewers and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ in third with 78,400 viewers. ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was in fourth with 76,100 viewers and ‘Veera’ rounding off the top five with 73,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ was top show with 32,400 viewers, while ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ at 21:00 could only bring in 26,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Aamna Saamna’ stayed the channel’s top show with 42,000 viewers and Pakistani drama ‘Aasmano Pe Likha Hai’ next with 13,200 viewers.

On Hum Europe, ‘Laa’ was top rated show at 21:30 with 27,300 viewers, followed by ‘Main Na Manu Haar’ at 22:30 with 17,900 viewers and ‘Meethay Dar Ramadan’ at 18:00 was next with 6,300 viewers. The extensive Ramadan coverage from 18:30 averaged with just 200 viewers.
