Overnights: Aaj Tak sees significant rise on Sunday in UK

India’s leading Hindi news channel, Aaj Tak, witnessed a surge in its ratings on Sunday, in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Aaj Tak was the most watched Indian news channel on Sunday with a share of 0.04%, putting it ahead of giants such as Hum TV, ZEE TV and Star Bharat, all raking in a share of 0.03%.

The channel’s biggest shows on Sunday were ‘AT News’ at 19:00 with 30,100 viewers, followed by ‘IT Special’ at 19:30 with 24,800 viewers and ‘India Today India Tomorrow’ at 20:00 with 22,000 viewers.

Aaj Tak was also ahead of its rivals NDTV 24×7 and ABP News, both clocked up a share of 0.01%.
