Overnights: 92 News gets off to poor start in UK
Newly launched Pakistani news service, 92 News has got off to a poor start in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The channel, which released its first official BARB data for Wednesday 3rd January 2018, delivered a share of just under 0.01%. It is not yet clear, which programme performed strongest due to lack of EPG data. However, BizAsiaLive.com understands that the 12:00 – 15:00 got highest average viewership of 2,000 viewers. Its ‘Sports @ 92’ show at 13:30 seems to have received the best response.
It was Geo News that got the highest ratings for a South Asian news channel with a share of 0.04%, followed by New Vision TV with 0.03%, Dunya News with 0.02% and Samaa TV with 0.01%.
92 News performed slightly better than Indian news channel, ABP News.
It remains to be seen how 92 News performs in the coming days and whether it managed to overtake its Pakistani news rivals.
