Nushrat Bharucha: “Not playing a villain or a negative role in Turram Khan”

Nushrat Bharucha is playing a positive character for the first time in Hansal Mehta’s next ‘Turram Khan’, alongside Rajkummar Rao. She is elated to finally play this character after portraying a villainous avatar in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ (2018).

Bharucha exclaimed, “Of course, I am happy I am playing a positive character for the first time. I am not playing a villain or a negative role in Turram Khan. My character is that of a simple small-town girl. I enjoyed working with Rao. It is very enriching to work with an actor like him. He is amazing and I am having an absolute blast working with him and the team,” as according to Asian Age.

Bharucha and Rao first worked together in ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ (2010).
