Non-cricket channel from Nimbus launched

Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt Ltd, the television venture from Nimbus Sports, has advanced the launch of its second channel. Consequently, Neo Sports Plus has been launched in India today.

Speaking on the launch, Shashi Kalathir, CEO, Neo Sports Broadcast, said, “We were highly encouraged by the performance of our first channel Neo Sports and we achieved a certain position in the market. We thought it perfect that on the back of this success, we launch the second channel.”

Unlike Neo Sports that was launched on the 1st October 2006, and is a cricket centric channel including both international and domestic cricket, Neo Sports Plus will focus on other sporting events. These include tennis, football, motor racing and so on.
