No stunt doubles for Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar has said that he will continue doing his own stunts as long as his body allows.��The 45-year-old actor has said��that the day he is unable to perform his stunts is the day that he will stop making such movies.

���I have always done my stunt scenes on my own. I never allow anybody to do my stunts. The day I will not be able to do so, I will stop working in action films. I promise you,�۝ Akshay told reporters during the trailer launch of��’Khiladi 786′.

With technological advances��it seems that more and more actors are prepared to carry out their own stunts to give their films authenticity. They are also willing to undertake further training in order to perfect their role. It would seem that most actors want their audiences to fully appreciate their commitment to the role and how hard they are working.

What does this mean for the classic body double? They might just have to call it a day and find work elsewhere.
