No SRK cameo in Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’

Recently there have been rumours that Shah Rukh Khan would be making a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’. However, it seems these rumours don’t really have any truth to them.

A source close to the film rubbished the speculation, according to Bollywood Hungama, “Shah Rukh Khan is not making an appearance in Sultan. Why should he? Do you think it would make sense to waste such an opportunity to bring them together?”

The source went on to deny the likelihood of Shah Rukh promoting ‘Sultan’. “There was a talk that not only would Salman and Shah Rukh come together for Eid with Sultan and Raees��respectively, they would also be promoting one another’s films. Not true. Salman has not promoted Shah Rukh’s film Fan in any way. Though the trailer of Salman’s Sultan is attached to Shah Rukh’s Fan, there is unlikely to be any more mutual promotion between the two stars,” continued the insider.

Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala is keen on casting ��the two Khans together in his forthcoming directorial but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
