Nikkhil Advani signs Arjun Kapoor & Gippy Grewal?

Having a good supportive network of friends in any job is a blessing and Arjun Kapoor and Nikkhil Advani are prime examples of that.

The pair have been friends for many years and it is said Kapoor had assisted Advani when he made his directorial debut with ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ (2003). Now according to Bombay Times, it looks like Advani will be returning the favour by casting Kapoor in one his untitled future productions. The film will be produced under Advani’s banner Emmay Entertainment and will be directed by actor Saurabh Shukla.

Though this isn’t the first time Kapoor has been offered a film from Advani. A leading daily says the ‘Mubarakan’ (2017) actor was asked to be in Gauravv K Chawla’s crime thriller ‘Baazaar’ in a lead role alongside Saif Ali Khan but unfortunately it didn’t work out due to Kapoor’s tight schedule, and in turn the role was offered to Rohan Khanna, son of the late actor Vinod Khanna.

Kapoor will start filming once he has wrapped up his other projects such as, Dibakar Bannerjee’s ‘Sandeep Aur Pinki Faraar’ and Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey Canada’.

In other news, Advani has also signed up Gippy Grewal for another project he’s got in the pipeline. Here the Punjabi singer-actor will be playing a solo lead role.
