New host for ‘STAR Voice Of India’ announced

Earlier this week, singer Shaan announced that he was quitting the STAR Plus reality show ‘Voice of India.’ It�۪s now come to know that one of the show’s previous contestants Abhaas Joshi will take over the helm as host.

In an interview with TellyChakkar Shaan said, “The host has already been selected. Abhaas Joshi is going to takeover. He is just 17 years old and looks like a kid himself. He would therefore gel very well with the participants. Also not to forget he is very talented. He always remained judges’ favorite and was also very consistent.”

Abhaas will begin his role as host of ‘STAR Voice Of India – Chottey Ustad’, which starts in India next month. The current series of the show will air on STAR Plus UK in January.
