NDTV to air 12-hr telethon for ‘cleanathon’ campaign

NDTV have announced they will will air a 12-hour telethon to raise awareness and funds for its ��Banega Swachh India�۪ campaign.

The campaign aims to create awareness about the importance of hygiene and sanitation. It will also work with NGO partners to support infrastructure for construction and maintenance of toilets.

The news broadcaster aims to support India’s PM Narendra Modi�۪s ��Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan�۪ through the ‘NDTV-Dettol Cleanathon.

The 12-hour ��Cleanathon�۪ will be held with the campaign ambassador Amitabh Bachchan on 14th December. It will be broadcast live across the NDTV network and will highlight the various initiatives undertaken as part of the campaign.
