NDTV Imagine announces more film premieres

NDTV Imagine seems to be on a roll��_with a brand new schedule now in place and movie premieres becoming a regular feature on the channel.

After the UK TV premieres of ‘Kismet Konnection’ and ‘Race’, the free-to-air entertainment channel, NDTV Imagine, has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk a line-up of more new hits to be screened shortly.

As part of the new schedule, last year’s blockbuster ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ starring Imran Khan will be airing on the channel next month, as well as romantic comedy ‘Jab We Met’ and epic drama ‘Jodha Akhbar’.

This is the first time for a UK TV channel to air such big premieres unencrypted. The latest movie acquisitions will be shown once-only as per its telecast agreement with movie distributors. The channel says that it will continue to show new movies with repeats being kept to a minimum or none at all.

Movies on NDTV Imagine are shown on Saturday and Sundays at 15:00.
