Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the role of a psycho in Anurag Kashyap’s next film.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the film is inspired by the true story of Raman Raghav, who confessed to the killing of 23 people in 1966 along the GIP (The Central Railway line, then known as the Great Indian Peninsular Railway).

Shruti Haasan will also be seen in a special appearance in the film. A source told the Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, Shruti has been approached for an interesting role in the Anurag Kashyap film and she is keen to sign the film. Anurag is a splendid director and wants her on board. But she has not allotted dates for the film yet.”

Ayushmann Khurrana is also said to be linked to the film.

The film goes on the floors this month.
